Our concept is simple, craft the type of furniture that we would like
to own ourselves. Hand crafting is never perfect, but it does have a quality
about it that is only found in top-line furniture. Our customers reap the benefits
of our continuous quest for excellence.
Our process begins by kiln drying our cedar down to under 10% moisture content.
Each piece is then sanded, revealing the grain and the quality of the board.
We then hand select what will go into the furniture and then cut parts according
to the model we use.
We give all of the edges a 3/8" round over. Assembly is done by pre-drilling
holes, proceeding through the gluing process and the applying of rust resistant
screws to the holes. After assembly, the entire pieces is gone over with a palm
sander using 150 grit sand-paper.
